The education practice group provides a broad range of sophisticated legal counseling and services to school districts and institutions of higher learning. Through the firm's representation of some of the largest school districts in New Jersey, our attorneys have gained invaluable experience providing guidance to our clients on the ever-changing climate of education law.
The firm's education group routinely provide counsel and advice on a myriad of issues facing our clients, from special education and related services, discipline and harassment intimidation and bullying, to labor and employment matters, including, tenure hearings and increment withholdings, collective negotiations, arbitrations, unfair practice charges and harassment and disability claims. The diversity of our practice group, coupled with the firm's wide-ranging experience in other practice areas, enables us to address and to advise on the broad variety of issues that confront our education clients including, insurance coverage, the Open Public Records Act, public contracting, Section 504, municipal zoning, environmental issues, construction projects and personal injury.
In addition, several of our attorneys serve as mayors in New Jersey and others are volunteer public servants and are therefore sensitive to public sentiment within the education system.
