In the February 28, 2013 issue of the Cranford Chronicle, Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader partner Philip J. Morin III was recognized for his efforts to raise funds for Special Olympics New Jersey. Through the New York Giants Snow Bowl flag football tournament, his team, the Shark Finns, played at MetLife Stadium on March 2nd in honor of his son, Finn, who was born with Down Syndrome.
"While we did not come home with a Snow Bowl championship on the field this year, we 'took care of business' thanks to our generous friends and family, and raised nearly $20,000 that will go directly to fund Special Olympics New Jersey programs," Morin said. "We are honored that Shark Finns team has been invited by the NY Giants to attend a preseason game and receive on-field recognition of our fundraising efforts to benefit SONJ.
At the time this e-news update was written, Morin and his teammates raised close to $20,000 for Special Olympics New Jersey, making his team the top fundraisers for this year out of approximately 120 teams.
