Firm Partner Lester E. Taylor III, Esq. will be a featured panelist on workplace investigation matters during a Employment Law Roundtable discussion for law professionals on Tuesday, December 15th presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Lester is Chair of the Firm’s Education Law practice and represents a number of school districts and other public entities in New Jersey on Labor and Employment matters such as collective bargaining agreement negotiations, grievance and interest arbitration proceedings, employment discrimination, harassment, whistle-blowing, wrongful discharge, and other employment related matters. He also provides counsel on day to day issues such as reductions in force, leave of absence, FMLA/NJLA, employee disciplinary policy and compliance issues. He has handled matters in Federal, State, administrative law courts and arbitration settings.
His representation includes the Phillipsburg School District, Jersey City Board of Education, the Borough of Roselle, Township of Irvington, West New York Board of Education, Willingboro Board of Education, Neptune Board of Education, and the Long Branch Housing Authority.
He regularly speaks at events and conferences throughout the State on Education, Labor and Employment legal and policy related matters. He has served as a featured presenter during the NJICLE annual New Jersey School Law Conference and is a regular presenter at the New Jersey School Boards Association Annual Workshop each Fall in Atlantic City.
