Partner Louis Cappelli, Jr. has been named the 2015 Public Sector South Jerseyan of the Year by the Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs of Rutgers University-Camden in recognition of the valuable contributions he has made as Freeholder in Camden County.
He will be honored during the 14th Annual Walter and Leah Rand Awards and Scholarship Dinner on Thursday, April 30 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, New Jersey.
Lou has been serving on the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders since 2002 and has been Director of the Board since 2006.
Among his most notable accomplishments is spearheading the creation of a groundbreaking regional police force in Camden County which has made significant improvements in public safety and has proven to be a more cost-effective way to fight crime.
Lou is the Managing Partner at the Firm's Cherry Hill office. He has extensive experience in education, governmental and regulatory affairs, labor, lobbying, real estate, family and personal injury law.
