Steven Weinstein Joins Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader
Steven D. Weinstein joined the law firm of Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, L.L.C. as a Partner in its Woodbury, New Jersey, office on August 9, 2010. Steve focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation before state, federal, and administrative courts; resolution of issues with local and state governmental agencies; and redevelopment and public finance matters and serves as Special Counsel to a number of governmental entities. Steve's practice areas include:
government contracts and relations
public finance, including local government units, authorities, and underwriters in municipal bond transactions
alternate dispute resolution and mediation
advice to government agencies and on behalf of private clients in dealings with public agencies
school law and labor relations
counsel to governmental entities on specialized matters
Steve has served as Camden County Counsel, General Counsel to the South Jersey Port Corporation, Hearing Officer for the County of Camden, Solicitor for the Oaklyn Housing Corporation, Solicitor for the Borough of Clementon Zoning Board, Solid Waste Counsel for the County of Camden and Counsel for the Camden County Economic Development Committee.
Steve brings to the firm a history of favorable results for clients, among them:

A native of Southern New Jersey, Steve graduated Rutgers University with a B.A. degree in Business Administration and received a J.D. degree from the Rutgers University School of Law - Camden. Steve holds bar admissions in the State of New Jersey, State of Pennsylvania, Supreme Court of the United States, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court New Jersey. Steve currently serves as the President of the Haddonfield Board of Education, as Chairman of the NJ Commission on Higher Education, as a Board Member for New Jersey Alliance for Action and as Vice President of New Jersey Future. He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Authorities Association of New Jersey and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Rowan University and as Chair to the West Jersey Health and Hospital Foundation.
Steve devotes time to many community organizations, including The United Way of Camden County as Vice President and Chair of its Community Impact Council, and the Camden Cathedral Forum Advisory Board.
Steve has been recognized in Whos Who in the East, Whos Who in American Law, Whos Who Emerging Leaders in America (Third Edition), and Men of Achievement. He is the author of noted chapter, Contracts and Bidding on the State and Local Government Level: Key Considerations in the book Inside the Minds: Working with Government Agencies in Government Contracts Law (Aspatore Books, April, 2009).
