Paralegal – Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Law

FLORIO PERRUCCI STEINHARDT & FADER, L.L.C. seeks a full-time experienced Paralegal, based in its Bethlehem, PA Office, to support its growing corporate and commercial real estate practice areas. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a corporate and/or commercial real estate Paralegal.  The candidate must be able to prepare corporate filings in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and draft and organize closing documents.  Familiarity with New Jersey/New York liquor licensing laws is a plus.  Bachelor’s degree is a plus.  Bilingualism is a plus.  Excellent fringe benefit package:   health-dental-vision benefits, paid life and disability insurance coverage, 401(k) Plan, paid holidays, vacation and absence time.  Salary is commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given regarding a merit bonus. 35-hour work week.  Position is open immediately.

                                                         Job Requirements

Candidate must have experience:

  • Filing certificates of formation and other corporate documents with state/federal agencies
  • Preparing and organizing closing documents
  • Dealing with matters confronted by attorneys acting as general counsel to various types of entities
  • Communicating directly with clients

Candidate must possess these attributes:

  • Competency in legal support duties; i.e., creating blacklines, comparing documents, creating signature pages, inserting attorney comments to draft documents and accurately billing time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook; particularly Word and Excel
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Ability to apply problem-solving techniques
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Meticulous file maintenance skills
  • A highly skilled ability to multi-task

In providing legal support services to firm attorneys, the position requires successful execution:

1)    Composing, preparing, revising and finalizing written documents and correspondence as directed by the attorney

2)    Preparing client intake forms, retainer agreements and electronic filings

3)    Maintaining attorney files in a consistent and logical manner

4)    Full transcription services - highly skilled in voice and media

5)    Answering phones in a courteous and professional manner

6)    Scheduling meetings and conference calls

7)    Opening and forwarding all forms of mail – paper, electronic and voice

8)    Entering billable time and disbursements

9)    Faxing and scanning documents

10)  Managing calendars and contacts

11)   Researching case histories and general documents/materials for attorneys via Westlaw and/or other requested platforms
