Reginald Jenkins, Jr. is a Partner in the Rochelle Park office. He focuses his practice on representing public and commercial individual clients in all aspects of mortgage lending, commercial lending, property acquisitions and sales, leasing, redevelopment, real estate, land use and zoning, post-approval compliance, leasing, and construction. During his career he has represented a wide variety of clients including banking institutions, telecommunications companies, billboard companies, restaurants, hotels and developers throughout New Jersey before numerous municipal land use boards and state agencies.
Reginald is also an experienced litigator in employment law and real estate litigation, commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Additionally, Reginald represents corporate and private clients in all aspects of creditor’s rights actions including collections, mortgage foreclosures actions, bankruptcy and adversary proceedings.
Reginald also represents corporate clients in management-side employment matters including compliance counselling as well as defense against claims relating to wrongful discharge, wage & hour, unemployment, discrimination, sexual harassment, breach of contract and related claims.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Newark Regional Business Partnership, and serves as Vice Chairman of the Education Committee for the New Jersey Wireless Association. Reginald actively volunteers his time with the Salvation Army Soup kitchen in his hometown of Montclair.
Reginald received his bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law.
Reginald is licensed to practice in New Jersey and is admitted to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District of New Jersey, U.S. Southern District of New York and the U.S. Eastern District of New York.
