Firm Partner Paul T. Fader, General Counsel to the Utility Transportation and Contractors Association of New Jersey (UTCA), served as the featured presenter during the recent UTCA 2016 Casa de Campo Executive Seminar held in the Dominican Republic.
Paul gave the presentation “Analysis of the New Jersey False Claims Act” which thoroughly outlined the purpose and goals of the Act and its impact on contractors and subcontractors to an audience of construction, engineering, and transportation professionals. Joining Paul in the presentation were Firm Partners Brian R. Tipton and Louis Cappelli, Jr. fellow members of the Firm’s Construction Law Group.
The Partners were guests during the week-long Executive Seminar which featured business meetings, networking events and activities.
The UTCA of New Jersey is a national award winning, non-profit trade association which is headquartered in Wall, New Jersey. UTCA currently includes approximately 1,025 member firms active in all phases of heavy, highway, site, utility and environmental remediation construction, in the public and private sectors, throughout the State.
Paul has been serving as legal counsel to the UTCA since 2014. A member of the Executive Committee at FPSF, he represents numerous public and private clients in the areas of construction, public contracting, redevelopment, real estate and land use law, and governmental affairs.
